Student Leadership Team
Our Student Leadership Team unites representatives from Year 7 through to Year 13, ensuring that every student voice contributes to the life of our school. The team is built around four key strands: Ambition, Culture, Diversity, and Independence.
Each equally important in shaping the character and success of our community.
- Ambition encourages students to set high goals and strive for excellence.
- Culture celebrates our shared traditions, creativity, and school spirit.
- Diversity ensures that every individual feels respected, included, and valued.
- Independence empowers students to take initiative and grow as confident leaders.
Together, these strands provide a balanced foundation that supports both students and staff, reflecting the values that make our school a thriving, inclusive, and forward‑looking environment.
As students’ progress into Key Stage 5, they also have the opportunity to take on the prestigious roles of Head Boy and Head Girl, offering further leadership and guidance across the whole school. These roles, alongside the four strands, highlight our commitment to nurturing responsibility, pride, and a strong sense of community in every student.
School Houses and Points System
Our school houses are at the heart of community life, fostering teamwork, pride, and friendly competition. Every student belongs to one of our houses, each with its own unique identity, values, and traditions. Throughout the year, students earn house points for academic achievement, participation in events, sporting success, and contributions to school life. These points are celebrated in assemblies and tracked on our leader board, motivating both individual effort and collective responsibility. At the end of the year, the house with the highest total is awarded the House Cup, a symbol of excellence, collaboration, and school spirit.
One of the most exciting opportunities for students to represent their houses is Sports Day, when determination, teamwork, and house pride shine through in every event. This highlight of the school calendar brings the whole community together in a vibrant celebration of athletic achievement and collective spirit, making it a day that embodies the very best of our house system.
