Unfortunately, the government have made it clear that we are not able to do so in order to continue to help reduce community transmission rates of Covid 19. It has been pleasing to see how well so many students have engaged with the remote learning and thank you for your support with this. If you need any support with your child\u2019s learning over this period please don\u2019t hesitate to contact the school.<\/p>\n<p>I know there is a lot of uncertainty surrounding the return of schools in September and I am sure you are anxious to know what the arrangement will be for the return of your child in September. At this stage I am not able to give a definite answer to this as government guidance is still not clear. However, I will outline what I believe to be the most likely option for September:<\/p>\n<p>1. A part time return to school for all students, in all year groups. This would mean that every child would have at least two days a week at school and would spend the remaining three days at home continuing with their remote learning.<br \/>\n2. A full time return to school for all students, which is clearly the option myself and the governors would prefer. In order to ensure a safe return for staff and students in this situation I am currently exploring a number of options to make this possible. One option is the use of a second site in order to create more space and allow for as many students as possible to return full time.<\/p>\n<p>I am sorry that I am not able to offer more certainly at this stage but I am confident that all students will return in September either full or part time. I will continue to wait for further guidance from the government but meanwhile we are making detailed plans for both scenarios. As soon as I have further information I will communicate this with you.
