Staff at the NHM put on a workshop for the children, highlights of which included recreating \u2018earthquakes\u2019 that were recorded on a seismometer and recreating the scientific properties of the Earth\u2019s Mantle &#8211; which involved playing with custard powder and water!<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0<\/span><\/em><em><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The students also got to visit the Earthquakes and Volcano section within the Museum, which complimented the topic they had been learning in Geography lessons last Half Term.
