The Y10 Boy’s were extremely unfortunate not to finish as Borough Champions after drawing in the final v Sydney Russell, and losing in extra time. The boys finished top of a very tough group, which included last years champions Eastbrook and also neighbours Riverside. Each team beat each other once, however, Greatfields finished top of the group due to their superior goal difference. In the final, Greatfields faced a physical Sydney Russell team. The game was finely balanced with Greatfield winning by one goal with 10 seconds from full time. Sydney Russell managed to score with the last throw up the game, which meant the game went to extra time. Sydney Russell went to win by two goals to be crowned Borough Champions. The Greatfields boys superbly conducted themselves and were unlucky not to win.<\/p>\n
