This was to introduce them to university life. Over the next 7 weeks, these pupils will be involved in a project which gets them to work like university students. They will have tutorials and meet with a PhD lecturer to help with their project.<\/div>\n<div>On the day they met with their tutor who told them what their project was about. This then lead onto a university tour. After lunch, they had a lecture on academic skills, this introduced them to essay writing and gave them an insight into what a university lecture is like.
