The Built Environment is a large, diverse and exciting industry with traditional areas such as construction, property, and land surveying. Professions within the Built Environment consist of design, engineering, surveying, management and planning. There is huge opportunity for school leavers, recent graduates, and current professionals to grow their career within the industry.<\/p>\n<p>There, our students met Lettie McKie \u2013 Head of Learning at the City Centre who introduced the day\u2019s activities. All the students were gathered around <em>\u2018The City model\u2019<\/em>, produced by Pipers. This was a unique way to study London\u2019s history through the City\u2019s built environment and included buildings that currently have planning permission which gave the students a sneak peak of the city\u2019s future skyline.
