On Tuesday 25<\/span>th<\/span> June 2019, our Year 9 students attended a Leadership workshop at Citi Bank Canary Wharf. On arrival the students were very impressed with the building, and upon entering they were amazed with the views they had of Canary Wharf from the 24<\/span>th<\/span> floor.\u00a0<\/span>They<\/span> received\u00a0<\/span>an introduction <\/span>and overview\u00a0<\/span>to the day by Mr. David Poole and Christine from ELBA<\/span>. <\/span>Throughout the day students participated in a quiz which gave them more insight into their individual leadership qualities <\/span>and\u00a0<\/span>allowed them to take part in their group leadership activity.<\/span><\/p>\n

An excellent lunch spread was provided for our students and staff, courtesy of Citi Bank and the day\u00a0<\/span>ended<\/span> with the students presenting in their groups<\/span> on<\/span>, \u2018<\/em><\/span>H<\/em>ow would you rebuild and sustain a new earth?\u2019<\/em>. The day was an excellent opportunity for our students to gain insight in the world of work and gave them the opportunity to network with professionals in a leading field. Greatfields School would like to extend thanks to ELBA and Citi Bank volunteers for such an amazing opportunity.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
