Our student council had the opportunity to attend a soundings session, once again, to discuss and share their ideas on what they would like to happen to the Gascoigne area as part of the regeneration. Soundings are independent community engagement experts building creative collaborations to help shape plans and better places for all. An impartial member of the team, develops a deep understanding of place and liaises with the local community on the design proposals as they evolve. Students were able to come up with some creative designs when discussing their ideas in the classroom. The students then had the opportunity to walk around the Gascoigne area and share ideas on how to improve it. As always, the students were engaged and came up with some excellent and creative ideas.<\/p>\n
