<\/a><\/p>\nOn 12th December, six of our Year 9 students visited Kings College London for the launch event of the Uni Pathways Programme. This is a prestigious two-year course run in conjunction with the Brilliant Club and Researchers in Schools. Participants will attend university-style tutorials, complete their own academic research and write a final assignment which will be awarded a degree classification grade. At the launch event, students received their own course workbook which has been specially designed by Dr Calladine. As well as learning all about university life and going on a tour of the KCL campus, participants had their first tutorial at the university and found out all about life in 17th century cities. Our students asked lots of great questions and did some fantastic work to explore the differences between urban experience in the 1600s and today.
