Last night we celebrated the progress and achievements of Year 8 at our celebration evening. It was a wonderful evening with performances from the choir, the guitar club and speeches from Mary, Toby and Junior. Progress prizes were awarded in every subject; awards given to students with 100% attendance this year;\u00a0sportsman and sportswoman of the year were announced;\u00a0and special awards were given to members of the School Council and to Mary and Rakhin for their hard work in mentoring Year 6 students coming to us in September. We were delighted to welcome James Hodgson as a special guest and he helped Mr Paul to give out the prizes.<\/p>\n
