Yesterday\u00a0our Year 7 and 8 pupils took part in the INSPIRE FESTIVAL alongside Riverside School, Thames View Juniors School and George Carey CoE\u00a0Primary School. Our pupils’ artwork formed part of the main exhibition and we also took part in the dance performances.<\/p>\n

Dance club performed two new routines ‘Dream girl’ and ‘ Dusk till Dawn’\u00a0that have been choreographed by themselves and Miss White. Students found it\u00a0a great experience dancing in front of primary and secondary schools from the area. Staff commented on how impressed they were with our performances and how technically trained our dancers are. Well done to Dance club that have been continuously working hard for all the upcoming performances and events.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The festival provided an opportunity for the young people from our Borough to showcase their skills. It was fantastic to see and to celebrate the amazing talent developing amongst different schools. The pupils and staff enjoyed visiting the schools,\u00a0having the opportunity to meet one another and share their artistic interests. There were astounding pieces of artwork on show from Years 3 – 10 and incredible dance, singing and music performances from Years 6 – 10 pupils. Lots of our pupils commented on how great it is to have opportunities like this for them to show others what they are capable of! Well done to all of the pupils who took part in today’s festival!<\/p>\n
