On Wednesday 7th<\/sup> February 2018, Greatfields attended Eastbury School to play in a friendly, Borough Netball Match. The team consisted of both Year 7 and Year 8 students who were chosen due to excellent commitment to extra-curricular clubs.<\/p>\n

Greatfields won the coin toss and took the first centre pass. GOAL! 0-1 to Greatfields. Eastbury went on to make some fantastic interceptions taking the score to 1-1. Greatfields kept moving the ball accurately down to the shooters who scored another 2 goals. Just before the whistle of the first quarter, Eastbury made a late shot taking the score to 2-3 Greatfields.<\/p>\n

Greatfields defence worked hard during the second quarter resulting in Eastbury not being able to score. Tia Adu (GS) made a brilliant move to receive an over-head pass and scored. 2-4 to Greatfields.<\/p>\n

Eastbury turned up the heat and moved the ball down the court with great accuracy scoring 3 goals on the bounce. They were pulling it back with Greatfields only being able to score 2 goals. Eastbury were on the attack and bought the score to 6-6.<\/p>\n

Greatfields were under pressure in the final quarter to keep the ball safe and help the shooters get into a good space to score. 1 goal! 2 goals! 3 goals! 6-9 to Greatfields. Eastbury won a penalty pass or shot in the final few seconds of the match. Great pressure from Era Musaj (GK) caused Eastbury to miss. Final score: 6-9 to Greatfields.<\/p>\n
