On Friday, our Year 8 football boys took on Barking Abbey for a place in the semi finals of the Barking and Dagenham Borough Cup. The boys started slowly going into half time\u00a01-0 down. After a good half time talk, the boys were focused and determined to overturn the 1-0 deficit. Within 2 minutes of the restart, we drew level. Within the first 10 minutes of the 2nd half, we scored another 2 quick goals to make it 3-1. The boys started to play with more confidence and freedom, and this resulted in the final score being 5-1. Superb attitude and determination was shown especially after being 1-0 down at half time. We now face our rivals Riverside School in the same final which should be a very entertaining game.<\/p>\n
