Both staff and students enjoyed a day out to the Tate Modern Gallery in Central London yesterday. They saw famous landmarks such as St Paul\u2019s Cathedral, Tower Bridge, the Globe Theatre and also Millennium Bridge; and that was just on the way to the Gallery. The pupils were able to view artwork by some of the artists they have been studying this year; such as Andy Warhol and Sonia Delaunay. They also learnt about new artists and different cultures. The staff at the Tate Modern were very impressed by how engaged the pupils were whilst walking round the art collections and also commented on how polite and respectful Greatfields pupils are. Two staff members at the Gallery told staff that the students were the best pupils they had ever worked with and were impressed with their artistic knowledge!<\/p>\n
