We were delighted that Stephen Addison, the founder of Box Up Crime, came in to speak to the students today. He told his inspirational story of how he turned his life around and went from being excluded from school and being involved in crime to British Amateur boxing champion. Stephen is a member of the local community who works with young people to keep them off the streets and uses boxing as a way to instil belief and focus in the young people of Barking. Stephen will be working closely with us and will start running Box Up Crime sessions after half term.<\/p>\n
