The building was buzzing with excitement as staff from the English and Inclusion departments arrived dressed as some of their all\u2011time favourite characters from literature. The corridors were filled with colour, costumes, and so much laughter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Students got hands\u2011on with their creativity too, designing and decorating their own book covers. The results were fantastic! It was wonderful to see everyone expressing their love of reading in such vibrant and artistic ways.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One of the highlights of the day was our hugely popular Masked Reader challenge. Students gathered excitedly to guess which staff members were reading behind the disguises. There were cheers, giggles, and plenty of surprising reveals!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To round off the celebrations, every student received a World Book Day book token, giving them the chance to choose a brand\u2011new story of their own. We hope these tokens inspire even more reading adventures in the weeks ahead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It was a day full of fun, imagination, and shared joy\u2014and a brilliant reminder of the power of books to bring us together.
