{"id":15750,"date":"2025-03-24T13:58:40","date_gmt":"2025-03-24T13:58:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.greatfieldsschool.com\/?p=15750"},"modified":"2025-03-24T13:59:01","modified_gmt":"2025-03-24T13:59:01","slug":"world-cup-football-festival","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.greatfieldsschool.com\/?p=15750","title":{"rendered":"World Cup Football Festival"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>On Thursday 20th March, Greatfields Year 7 and Year 8 mixed gendered 5-aside football teams travelled to Goals Dagenham to compete in the World Cup Football Festival for local schools hosted by The Dagenham and Redbridge Football Club Community Trust. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Both teams played seven matches and had some fantastic results against various schools like Woodbridge HS, Mayfield, Eastbrook, Chadwell Heath, Sydney Russell and Lammas School. Year 7 had the up hand with overall performance scoring 36 goals, and finishing top with a record 4 wins, 2 draws, 1 loss. Both teams showed great teamwork, resilience and character expressing themselves and having fun. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Each player received a medal and a certificate, plus 2 free tickets for the Daggers Celebrate Diversity Day Vanarama League match versus Tamworth on 15th March.
