On Thursday 12th October, Greatfields U13 Girls\u2019 football team travelled to Jo Richardson to kickstart their borough league in their new kit #LETGIRLSPLAY. Greatfields started the first half strong taking the lead in the opening 5 minutes and could have been 2-up but failed to convert chances created. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Momentum of the match changed instantly as Jo Richardson pushed for the equaliser, pegging Greatfields to end the half all square. Jo Richardson came out for the second half firing to stretch their lead to 5-1. Greatfields displayed great sportsmanship, character and resilience to get back into the match scoring twice in the final 5 minutes of the match with the final result 5-3. I want to say a massive well done to the team, being it was their first match playing together. Lots of room for progress, proud of them all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
