On Monday 3rd July, Greatfields Year 10 Boys Basketball Team travelled to Eastbury Community School for a friendly match. Greatfields came out flying with a fast start in the first and second quarter leading 23 -14 at half time with an impressive high court press, ball movement and defensive work. The second half was hugely contested between the two teams and Greatfields came up short in the last seconds of the game losing 41-39 final score. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
I want to give a massive shout out to Michael for donating his Jack Petchey grant to buy a new basketball kit which was worn for the game. And finally want to say a massive well done to all the Year 10 boys for progress made this season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
