The pool stages seen some excellent link up play from C to GA and GS. Superb shooting from GS, who displayed some real composure when it mattered. The girls entered the semi-finals in a strong position but yet to face their first real competition. They got off to a great start with an early goal, and by 3 minutes in, they were up 2-0. The scores changed quickly with Eastbury getting 2 quick goals. The scores progressed to 3-3 and the match went to golden goal. The girls lost by 1.<\/div>\n<div>&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>Next match- 3rd place playoff seen the girls unfortunately lose 4-2, finishing 4th out of 18 teams who entered!!<\/div>\n<div>&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>Player of the tournament &#8211; Vanessa<\/div>\n<div>&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>Year 8 &#8211; They showed a courageous effort today in the rally.
