On 6th October, Greatfields won their first borough Netball match of the season, beating Robert Clack School (b) 11-3. This is a fantastic result for the girls after training so hard in their enrichment club every Thursday. The girls took an early lead and made some exceptional passes into our shooting circle. All of the team worked hard together to win any loose balls and convert these into goals. Shooting from Ashlee and Diana was brilliant in the match, and they showed such class in working together in the shooting circle. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The girls also played Robert Clack (a), and after a very close 3 quarters, Robert Clack pulled away in the 4th Q. The game finished 12-6. The score does not truly reflect the excellent play from the girls as they worked really hard in the centre and attacking third, but unfortunately the girls needed to show more dominance in the defensive circle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This is a fantastic start and a huge well done to all the girls who took part. Thank you also to Robert Clack for coming over for the game. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
