Greatfields General Election Hustings

Today in assembly students representing four of the parties at the General Election spoke to the year group about why they should be elected. The students did their own research and looked into the parties’ manifestos in order to produce their speeches. The level of research was impressive and all of the students spoke with clarity and confidence as they pitched their party to the other students. This was very much a case of democracy in action at Greatfields! An election will be held on Wednesday 7th June at school to give the students a chance to cast their vote a day in advance of the General Election.
